2. What data we collect and why

• Email address — only when you voluntarily submit it to a newsletter form. Used solely to send the digest you subscribed to.
• Anonymous usage analytics — aggregate page-view data via Vercel Analytics. This does not identify you and contains no personal data.

We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Art. 6)

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for storing your email and sending newsletters; withdrawable at any time.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — for anonymous analytics used to improve the site, balanced against your privacy and limited to non-identifying data.

4. Retention period

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request erasure, after which they are deleted without undue delay. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate only.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), data portability, restriction of processing, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies

We use a single functional cookie to remember your cookie-consent choice. Anonymous analytics are only enabled if you accept via the consent banner; if you decline, analytics are disabled. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

7. Third-party processors

• Brevo — email delivery and storage for newsletter subscribers (EU-based processor).
• Vercel — hosting and anonymous analytics.

These processors handle data under their own GDPR-compliant terms and only as needed to provide the service.

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
